Fixing the Future Festival, held on 16 & 17 of September at CCCB (Barcelona), is an all-encompassing experience, with talks, workshops, debates and networking opportunities, that addresses the most important question of our time: how do we fix the problems of our planet and transform the future?

With more than 50 speakers from around the world who inspire change, the line-up is superb. They will explain their innovative projects in climate justice, artivism, sustainable fashion, STEAM education, intelligent cities…and much more!

What will you be doing?

Fixing the Future Festival is looking for a team of committed and proactive volunteers for a number of roles, including: 

 – Reception desk (check in, ticket control, information point)

 – Q&A facilitator during the talks

 – Speakers Room manager

– Assisting with the ecoboat construction

– Collaborating in the organisation of family workshops

 – Runner

 – Usher

 – Information facilitator 

 – Capacity control

What is the time commitment? 

Fixing the Future Festival is held from 9am to 7pm on 16 & 17 September, at CCCB (Barcelona).

Apply to be a volunteer for the full two-day festival, or for two half-days (either morning or afternoon). There will also be a required training session to prepare for the festival. 

What do we provide? 

If you are selected, you will be part of a vibrant international team, and you will be able to meet speakers and participants from all over the world. When you don’t have your volunteer shifts you can attend the other inspiring sessions.

Selected volunteers in the full-time or morning shifts will be provided with lunch. Afternoon volunteers are invited to attend the networking drinks. Volunteers also get to take home their own EcoAlf t-shirt.
