Dog poo prints

Streetkleen
UK (Flintshire)

Honestly, we all know the Elon Musks of the world, and we know the amazing work they’re doing, like the Power Wall and the Model III. But I’m always a fan of technology being used in bizarre ways.

The London-based Streetkleen is aiming to create a database of DNA. But not people-DNA. Dog-DNA. Yeah, Streetkleen is attempting to DNA test all the dogs in an effort to catch owners who don’t pick up after their pets.

Fouling is apparently a big thing in London, and it has the support of the municipal authorities. Any stray poop found will be tested, and the guilty parties will be fined. We’re living in the future!

Streetkleen was mapped by virtual reality producer Samantha Storr in her AtlasChart Top 5. Read her full FutureHero interview.
