Calling all doctors, nurses, engineers and designers: coronavirus wants you!

Ventilators are essential for taking care of people struggling to breathe in serious cases of coronavirus. They may look simple, but they’re not. As countries face shortages of important medical equipment during the COVID-19 pandemic, makers are desperately trying to fill the gaps with open source designs.

Open Source COVID19 Medical Supplies is a Facebook group devoted to creating an open source ventilator and other medical supplies. Makers exchange information on how to make vital medical equipment for patients infected with the coronavirus quickly and cheaply.
