Atlas of the Future has partnered with Red Bull Amaphiko to share each other’s stories.
The global platform enables, connects and inspires social entrepreneurs – pioneers, change makers and innovators who use their talent, creativity and energy to make a positive change in their corner of the world in a sustainable way. It does this through a series of development tools both digital and in real life.
Amaphiko focuses on grassroots social innovations, whether they’re self-identified social enterprises or one-person projects aiming to solve a hyper-local social issue. The website hosts hundreds of projects ranging from South African guerrilla gardeners turning dumping grounds into vegetable patches to Austrians building bamboo bikes in collaboration with environmentally-friendly Ghanaians or a technologically-minded Kenyan coming up with an app to help deal with domestic violence.
Amaphiko has been running since 2014 and aims to use the brand’s global networks to promote and support social enterprise – and to bring mainstream audiences closer to the topic.
