Soil Algae
(Pending editorial review)
United States (Carlsbad)
I work with a small team in Carlsbad California and we are launching a new soil amendment made from live algae. All the evidence is there that it will help out a lot of gardeners with poor soil. The goal is for a natural alternative to chemical fertilizers that allows farmers to increase nitrogen fixation on their lands through natural processes. We will be supplying soil algae grown in our lab in California as well as kits for people to culture their own algae present in the soil around their home. We are doing a kickstarter on the 5th of next month and could really use a boost.
