Lab for creative rebels

UnSchool of Disruptive Design
United States (New York)

Submitted by you:

The UnSchool is an experimental knowledge lab for creative rebels and change agents that teaches the ‘Disruptive Design Method’ for activating social change – building a global community that works to proactively and provocatively disrupt the status quo for positive change.

Founded by sustainability provocateur Dr. Leyla Acaroglu, as the result of her years of research into positive social and environmental change, UnSchool programmes pop up in cities from New York to Melbourne, and Rio to London, to offer adventures and experimental knowledge sharing experiences for adults.

Providing emerging leaders and established professionals with the creative ‘thinking and doing tools’ to challenge complex global problems, the original and award-winning programmes are built on three knowledge pillars – systems, sustainability and design.

By working with designers, artists, innovators, social entrepreneurs and world-changing-types within cerebrally-activating programming, the aim is to cultivate an internationally-thriving ecosystem of thinkers and doers around the world who see problems as opportunities for creative innovation.
