México (Santiago de Querétaro)
I am Ecuadorean who is currently studying International Affairs at Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Querétaro, México. I am part of the High Academic Performance Program for Latin American. Thus, I have been doing social projects since 3 years ago. I started by being the vice president of the Committee for Social Action and Citizenship at ITESM. Nowadays, I am found my own social start-up, Inclúyeme y Aprendamos Todos, that is a social and labor inclusion project that create internships for people with disabilities. Before it, I was the General Coordinator of "Microempresa Vida Activa". It is a social microenterprise that promotes employment for adults with Down syndrome through the elaboration of amaranth products. The project won the Wal-Mart Women Empowerment competition in November 2014. Also, I represented "Microempresa Vida Activa" at Latin America Workshop held by Centro de Intercambio del Conocimiento (CIC) Viva Trust, which took place in November 2014 in San José, Costa Rica and MIT GSW 2014 in Guatemala. Hence, I am part of the editorial group that promotes youth participation at national and international level through the magazine Fanzine. Moreover, I worked for a year and a half at AIESEC as the coordinator of social projects in the area of Incoming Exchanges of Global Community Development Program (IGCDP).
